Requirements:
This position is primarily responsible for operating workstations and associated systems used in the manufacturing of products sold to our customers, so we require a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) to apply for the Cleanroom Operator 2 position. Be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
3-5 years of experience in the medical device industry is preferred but not required and be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Great attention to detail; Meets all Operator/Assembler I requirements, and knowledge of how to set up and operate workstations, as well as knowledge in performing visual and dimensional inspections; and Practical knowledge of drawings, ability to interpret nomenclature and dimensions.
Ability to provide information to engineers to determine root cause in order to identify appropriate corrective actions. and strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.
Responsibilities:
Comply with company standards, policies and procedures, quality and safety, and all Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) requirements to ensure that products are consistently produced and controlled in accordance with the Quality System following the documentation established for the manufacturing of the product. Provides direction within the manufacturing cell to associates assigned to assist them and to Quality Control with inspection tasks as necessary.
Operate a variety of wafer manufacturing equipment in a production environment./Manually handle fragile wafers on a regular basis./Work with small devices to load fixtures and process equipment./Perform basic measurements and mathematical calculations./Adjust machines to achieve compliance with specifications and maximum performance./Performs visual inspections during the process with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with the requirements established in the Process Control Document or as indicated in the plans or work instructions.
Maintains cleanliness of work areas, machines, tools and equipment./Receives instructions within the manufacturing cell from higher level operators assigned to that cell./Be competent in the task of loading components into product specific tooling. /Performs basic measurements and mathematical calculations related to tolerances and dimensions./Performs various dimensional inspections using specific calipers, dimensional inspection systems, verniers, and micrometers.
Assist production operators and technicians in the processing and manufacturing of products./Perform pre- and post-welding operations, such as assembly and cleaning of parts./Establish workstations in qualified operations, performing basic setup and troubleshooting tasks. problems./Perform welding operations./Accurately document work performed in customer inspection and traveler reports./Assist in packaging finished products/Provide reliable, consistent and timely assistance./Recognize quality problems and communicate them to Quality and/or Supervisor./ Perform other assigned tasks.
