Requirements:
Candidates must be willing to accept instructions and follow directions accurately. Having a steady hand and good eyesight are important physical attributes for the tasks involved. Proficiency in understanding English instructions is mandatory.
Prior experience in repairing cell phones, particularly Apple products, is required, and previous work in manufacturing environments such as an IFIXIT or Apple Store, or in a body shop/auto detailing, is advantageous.
Must possess the ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a daily basis and be comfortable standing, bending, and twisting regularly throughout the workday.
Experience with cell phone screen and battery replacements is essential. Experience in operating and maintaining machines is considered a plus, as is familiarity with using a microscope.
Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient, accurate, and high-quality repair of all Apple iPhones. This includes tasks such as testing, certification, troubleshooting, cleaning, and assembly of the devices.
Key responsibilities also involve operating and maintaining the grinding and polishing machines to ensure they function correctly.
The technician will assist with the repair of cell phones and other consumer electronics, contributing to the overall success of the repair operations.
Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized repair department is essential, ensuring that the workspace is conducive to efficient and precise repair work.
