Requirements:
The Traceback Inspector – BOV is responsible for tracing the source of a specific rejection, which is recorded daily in the Molding Quality Report (MQR) logbook by Quality Assurance (QA) inspectors; therefore, strong organizational, communication, and comprehension skills are required.
Position involves lifting up to 40 pounds, bending, squatting, reaching and using measuring devices involving fine hand motion and a high degree of visual acuity.
Must have the ability to work congenitally with all departments.
Ability to multitask in busy environment required,
Responsibilities:
Responsible for labelling any boxes that require rework and completing all necessary paperwork associated with the traceback.
Completing daily paperwork and submitting to QA Supervisor for distribution; Utilize log book to verify order of priority; Communicate rework priorities to rework inspectors and ensure that rework inspectors complete the necessary rework and paperwork.
Assist in management of accepted finished stock (AFS) inventory and apply appropriate material to upcoming/currently running orders,
Use of microscopes and gauges; Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
