Requirements:
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the Merrimack warehouse. The ideal candidate for the position should have a high school diploma/GED, with at least one year of warehouse experience or equivalent. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Able to lift and/or move objects from 10 to 70 pounds regularly. Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or crawl.
Forklift experience and knowledge in using common computer tools/technologies (Windows, MS Office) are preferred.
Detailed record-keeping and reports. Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Unload delivery trucks and ensure that each incoming delivery matches the company's work order. Collaborate with the procurement group to determine when a product is missing from a delivery.
Assist in shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and billing merchandise. Also help count physical inventory, sorting, and placing materials or items on shelves or containers according to organizational standards.
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area, picking up, and preparing packages for shipment.
Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording quantities of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
