Requirements:

The hot runner mold repair technician is responsible for changing and maintaining hot runner plastic injection molds and for completing scheduled mold/product changes in the molding department, therefore our candidate requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of previous experience with hot runner tooling and mold repair experience.

Must be familiar with various hot runner controllers and systems.

Must possess a comprehensive tool set and be able to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.


Responsibilities:

Changes the assigned mold tools as necessary for scheduled product changes, which includes hanging the mold, maintaining the tools, regular servicing of the tools, and repair of defective tools.

 Installs new (replacement) tools as needed for the same.

Conducts routine mold maintenance, including cleaning, sharpening, and repairing mold components.

Manages tool inventory, ensuring all necessary tools are available and in good working condition. Completes other assigned tasks.
