Requirements:
Agile is looking for qualified candidates who specialize in Molding. It requires a high school education or equivalent, with manufacturing experience being an advantage, and preferably someone who understands English.
You must have excellent organizational skills and know how to communicate effectively and respectfully with a diverse population. Possessing interpersonal and customer service skills, maintaining a high level of work quality and quantity, as well as being accurate with numbers and counting, are essential.
Candidates must be ethical, prioritize work efficiently and effectively, maintain composure in stressful situations, be detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual.
The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, reaching, and using measuring devices that require fine hand movements and a high degree of visual acuity. Due to the nature of the position and noise level, safety glasses and other PPE will be required.
Responsibilities:
Perform compression molding machine operations to manufacture rubber and silicone diaphragms. Operate compression molding presses with multiple machine stations and molds/dies. Adjust pressure and temperature according to established parameters. Apply mold release agent to the molds. Make performs in the mold and verifies batch numbers of raw materials. Place material inserts to ensure proper flow and distribution.
Inspect produced parts and count rejected parts. Adjust/install safety devices. Separate, clean, trim, assemble, and package parts. Complete worksheets and work travelers, recording work, hours, machines used, number of items, counts, rejected parts, and other information.
Detect and report improper operations, defective equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions. Maintain established quality and quantity standards.
Follow prescribed safety precautions, established company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Perform similar or other tasks as necessary.
